Instructional statistics seminars on the use of STATGRAPHICS for statistical analysis are offered on-site at client locations or can be conducted online. Data analysis training content is based on the client's needs. A typical course of one of these statistics seminars will include one day covering the basic operation of STATGRAPHICS and two or three additional days covering advanced topics of interest to the client. The data analysis training seminars are hands-on, with participants actively using the program throughout the day.
Courses are constructed by combining several of the following modules and can be customized using the clients own data:
Module | Title | Duration |
---|---|---|
INTRO | Introduction to STATGRAPHICS Centurion | 1 day |
BASIC | Basic Statistics Using STATGRAPHICS | 1 day |
CAPABILITY | Process Capability Analysis: Estimating Quality | 2 days |
SPC1 | Fundamentals of Statistical Process Control | 0.5 day |
SPC2 | Advanced Statistical Process Control | 0.5 day (*) |
DOE1 | Introduction to Design of Experiments | 0.5 day |
DOE2 | Further Topics in Design of Experiments | 0.5 day (*) |
SUMMA | Summa Six Sigma | 2 days (*) |
TIME | Time Series Analysis and Forecasting | 0.5 day (*) |
LIFE | Reliability and Life Data Analysis | 0.5 day (*) |
ANOVA | Analysis of Variance Using STATGRAPHICS | 0.5 day |
REGRESS | Regression Analysis Using STATGRAPHICS | 0.5 day |
MODEL | Advanced Statistical Modeling |
1 day (*) |
WORKSHOP | Data Analysis Workshop | 0.5 day |
UPDATE | New Version 19 Update | 0.5 -1 day |
NOTE: The duration listed for each module assumes that 4 hours of class time are available in each half day, and that the students are quantitatively adept. The modules for data analysis training courses that are shown with an asterisk (*) are likely to be more challenging than the others.
A typical 3-day course of statistics seminars for those engaged in quality improvement or Six Sigma would include the following:
Day 1: Introduction to STATGRAPHICS Centurion
Day 2: Basic Statistics
Day 3: Fundamentals of Statistical Process Control and Introduction to Design of Experiments
A typical 4-day course of data analysis training adds two additional half-day modules, such as Advanced Statistical Process Control, Further Topics in Design of Experiments, or Reliability and Life Data Analysis. A Data Analysis Training Workshop can also be included on an additional day or half-day, during which data sets provided by class participants are analyzed by the group.
In constructing on-site and online statistics seminars, we work closely with the client to select the most relevant material. If needed, partial coverage of selected modules can be scheduled to meet any time constraints.
